The social
side of running.
Running had become a huge part of my life — but organising a run with mates was still harder than it needed to be. So I started building RunMates.

"I realised how unnecessarily difficult it was to organise a run with your mates."
Running had become a huge part of my social life, but all the existing apps were focused on tracking what you'd already done — not actually helping you figure out who you could run with.
So I started building RunMates: essentially a social calendar for runners where you can see when your mates are running, plan runs together and simply hit join.
A calendar was just the start.
The more I built it, the more I realised the calendar was only the entry point. We could connect runners with their friends, run clubs and races, give them a profile, let them discover what's happening in their running community — and eventually create a genuine social network built around running.
Plan together
See your week at a glance and coordinate sessions without the group-chat noise.
Find your people
Know when friends are running and join them in one tap — before the run, not after.
Discover community
Find local clubs, events and runners around you. Real people, real times.
From idea
to MVP.
We've gone from the original idea to a functioning MVP, built an early waitlist of over 130 runners and started building the brand and community around it.
The long-term vision is simple: make RunMates the place runners go to organise, discover and experience the social side of running.
Be first to plan more runs with friends.
